The Camby House

The Camby House, also known as the Horace Reeve House, was a place were many teenagers trespassed to ghost hunt. It was scheduled to be torn down August 1, 2010 but it caught fire and burned down July 5th. The house was for sale for the bargain price of $1. Many factors made it unsellable, it was decrepit, had a shady history, was on airport property, was a historical landmark so it had restoration restrictions and it happens to be located near an endangered bat colony (lolwut?) so all electricty would have to be monitored and approved as to not endanger them. It was a neat, creepy house. It’s a shame it burnt. They assume arson, bc the house had no electricity. I just want to point out that the fire started at 3:00 which is what is considered to be a highly active time for paranormal activity. :D
